The following documents must be submitted when applying for a study residence permit:
• The foreigner’s original travel document.
• The original document confirming legal stay in Georgia
• A certificate issued by an authorized educational institution in Georgia confirming the foreigner’s enrollment, including the expected duration of studies.
• A document confirming the legal income of the foreigner and/or their Georgian citizen relative or a relative residing in Georgia with a residence permit. This document must also prove the familial relationship. Additionally, the amount deposited in the foreigner’s personal bank account may be considered income, provided that, considering the duration of the study residence permit, the monthly amount is not less than twice the average subsistence minimum for a consumer in Georgia.
• A passport-size photo (3x4 cm).
All documents must be submitted with a Georgian translation.
Some documents require certification with an apostille or legalization.
