Visa denial in Georgia may be based on the following reasons:

1.    Lack of Required Travel DocumentsIf the applicant does not possess the necessary documents required by Georgian law for entry into the country, including:

 •    A valid travel document/passport

 •    A document confirming the purpose of travel   •    Proof of accommodation

 •    Travel and health insurance

 •    Proof of sufficient financial resources

 2.    Submission of False or Incomplete InformationIf the applicant intentionally provides false or incomplete information or documents when applying for a visa or requesting an extension.

3.    Lack of Health and Accident InsuranceIf the applicant does not have valid health and accident insurance covering their stay in Georgia or lacks sufficient funds for return travel.

 4.    Entry Ban or Unpaid FinesIf the applicant is prohibited from entering Georgia or has unpaid fines imposed for illegal stay in the country.

 5.    Threat to National Security or Public OrderIf the applicant’s presence in Georgia poses a threat to national security, public order, public health, or the rights and legal interests of Georgian citizens and residents.

 6.    Risk of Illegal StayIf there are reasonable grounds to believe that the applicant will remain in Georgia illegally after the visa expires.
