Documents to Be Submitted to the Diplomatic Missions and Consular Offices of Georgia for an Immigration Visa

1.Travel Document – The travel document submitted for a visa application must meet the following criteria:

• Its validity period must exceed the validity of the requested visa by at least three months.

• It must contain at least two blank pages suitable for visa placement.

• It must not be damaged or contain unofficial inscriptions.

• It must have been issued within the last 10 years.

2.Proof of Sufficient Financial Means for the Intended Period of Stay – This can be confirmed by one of the following documents:

• A document proving that the applicant will cover their travel and/or living expenses with personal funds (e.g., a bank statement from the last six months, an employment certificate indicating salary, or other proof of financial support).

• A sponsorship letter in a material form.

• A document confirming the receipt of a grant or financial aid for studies, or proof of a scholarship.

• A document verifying the payment of tuition fees.

3. Receipt of Consular Fee Payment.

4. Personal Photo – Must comply with ICAO standards.

5. Proof of Fine Payment – If the applicant has been fined for illegal stay in Georgia, a document confirming the payment of the fine must be submitted.

6. Health Insurance – The submitted health insurance must be valid for the entire duration of the requested visa and must cover the entire territory of Georgia.

7. Proof of Accommodation – One of the following documents must be provided:

• A document issued by a legal entity registered in Georgia confirming that the applicant will be provided with accommodation, specifying the address.

• A document issued by a private individual confirming that they will provide accommodation for the applicant; this document must be notarized and include the location and duration of the stay.

• A rental agreement for a residence.

• A document confirming a reservation for accommodation (e.g., a hotel booking).

• An invitation letter in which the inviting party guarantees accommodation for the applicant.

• Any other document confirming the availability of accommodation in Georgia.

You must also submit a document confirming the purpose of travel to Georgia for employment, entrepreneurial activities, educational visits, family reunification, or, in the case of a foreign national who owns real estate in Georgia (except for agricultural land), proof of property ownership
