Applying for a Residence Permit in Georgia
A foreign national can apply for a residence permit either personally or through an authorized representative.

2. If the foreign national is outside Georgia – The application can be submitted at a Georgian diplomatic mission or consular office abroad.

2. Request for Additional Information – If necessary, the agency may request additional documents or information from the applicant.
3. Processing Time – The review period depends on the type of residence permit but must not exceed 30 days.
Decision on the Application:
1. After completing the review, the agency decides whether to grant or deny the residence permit.
2. If approved, the applicant receives a residence permit certificate.
